Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Last week I spent some time reflecting on the major people in my life who where there for me when I needed it the most and helped shape me into who I am today. At the time, I don't even think I was aware of what a positive influence these people were having on me. Now looking back, I can see now how important their role in my life was and the lasting impact they made on my being. I believe each person carries with them a little piece of all the people they meet and the experiences they collect and it's that culmination of all those little bits that makes up the beautifully unique mosaic that is the individual.

The Act: Write a “Thank You” card, email, or text to someone who has been there for you and made a positive impact on your life. The actual act putting down into words why you are grateful for whatever it is this person has done helps deepen your sense of connectivity and appreciation for this person and increases you level of happiness. Also, you get to make that special person’s day a little bit brighter by sharing your positivity & gratitude. Win / Win.
